About the Role
Colliers Project Leaders is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading building and facilities projects in various sectors, including education, healthcare, and corporate offices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the single point of contact throughout the project.
- Build trust with clients, providing expert knowledge, skills, and expertise to achieve their business goals and objectives.
- Lead project teams, providing oversight and leadership of all elements of the project delivery.
- Chair project and site meetings, resolving issues and coordinating between multiple stakeholders.
- Regularly report on project status and provide leadership and mentorship to junior project resources.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager, representing owners to multiple stakeholders in the delivery of projects of varying size and scope.
- Experience in public sector projects is an asset.
- A bachelor's degree or higher degree in engineering, architecture, planning, project management, or construction management, or an equivalent combination of academic and practical experience.
- Strong knowledge of various types of construction methodologies, project management models, and financial management.
- Effective leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to influence others and resolve client, project, and technical issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Strong computer skills, including a working knowledge of scheduling (MS Project), word processing (Word), and spreadsheet (Excel) software applications.
