Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Manager to join our team at BC Ltd. As a key member of our retail operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of retail professionals to provide exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.
- Merchandise Management: Order and manage inventory, authorize returns, and maintain a visually appealing store environment.
- Operations Management: Establish work schedules, prepare sales reports, and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Inventory Control: Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimizing losses.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of retail experience.
- Supervision: 1 to 2 people.
- Participate in Government or Community Programs: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees.
- Assist with Immediate Settlement Needs: Assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees, such as housing, transportation, and storage.
- Support Social and Labour Market Integration: Support the social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees, including facilitating access to community resources, language training, and skills training.
- Participate in Government or Community Programs: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people.
- Offer Mentorship and Coaching: Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.
- Develop Relationships with Indigenous Communities: Develop and maintain relationships with Indigenous communities, Indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations.
- Participate in Government or Community Programs: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports members of visible minorities.
- Apply Hiring Policies: Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities, such as anonymizing the hiring process.
- Offer Mentorship Programs: Offer mentorship programs that pair members of visible minorities with experienced employees.
