Job Title: Senior Product Manager, Documents

Clio is seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Manager to lead the development of our Clio Draft product, with a focus on expansion into international markets (EMEA, APAC). As a key member of our product team, you will be responsible for driving the product vision, strategy, and roadmap execution for Clio Draft, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of legal professionals while maintaining a competitive edge in the market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Leadership + Execution: Collaborate with your Developer and Designer counterparts to drive successful outcomes for customers, working from the overarching strategy set by leadership to build products and features that make our customers' document workflows more efficient and productive.
  • Cutting-edge technology: Envision how to leverage GenAI and NLP to radically improve the document generation process.
  • Strategy and Prioritization: Drive customer and market research, identify opportunities in the Documents space, develop unbiased business cases, and determine priorities that deliver significant impact for our customers and our business.
  • Market and Customer Understanding: Develop a deep understanding of the markets in which we operate and foster strong relationships with our international teams to make Clio Draft a global success.
  • Systems Integration: Partner with Engineering to drive the unification of underlying billing and go-to-market systems to effectively launch and monetize Clio Draft in international markets.
  • Partnerships: Act as the product liaison for partnerships, focusing on the technical complexities and user experience considerations that come with integrating third-party services.
  • Coaching and Mentoring: Coach and mentor other Product Managers in their craft and contribute to the continuous up-leveling of the product function and contributing to the culture as a whole.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of independently taking multiple products or features from ideation to launch.
  • Solid hands-on experience in a product management role at a software development company.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring that no requirement or specification gets overlooked in the product development cycle.
  • Outstanding organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously without compromising quality or timelines.
  • Can work in a highly collaborative team without ego.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excel in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing uncertainty to drive results.
  • Are enthusiastic to learn a new, complex industry (legal) and the humility to ask for help when needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience building products/features in the Document Creation and Management space.
  • Document/Content generation experience using GenAI.
  • Successfully launched products in global markets.
  • Experience with i18n and i10n.
  • Knowledge of document standards, especially in the legal industry (ex. ISO).
  • Adjacent experience with other judicial solutions that complement your legal subject matter expertise.
  • A number of failures under your belt, the learnings of which you can bring to Clio.
  • Have the ability to foster strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels within the organization.
  • Have a track record of breaking down objectives into initiatives and delivering to customers at scale.
  • Demonstrable experience self-serving answers, insights, and data from a variety of data analytics tools.
