Vineyard Labourer Job Description

Coligny Hill Farms Ltd is seeking a skilled Vineyard Labourer to join our team. As a Vineyard Labourer, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing the growth of vines, vine canopy, and grapes. Your duties will include weeding, fertilizing and spraying crops, harvesting crops, operating and maintaining farm machinery and equipment, and performing general farm duties.

Work Environment

You will be working in a viticulture environment with staff accommodation available. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and be able to work 40 to 60 hours per week.

Requirements

  • Maintain and manage growth of vines, vine canopy and grapes
  • Weeding
  • Fertilize and spray crops
  • Harvest crops
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
  • Weed, prune and trim trees and plants
  • Perform general farm duties
  • Cut grass
