About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician I to join our team at Wayfair. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and distribution centers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, machinery, and facilities to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures to identify and resolve issues with electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of conveyor systems, aerial lifts, and other equipment.
  • Work safely and efficiently to complete tasks and projects, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve common goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of carpentry, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
