About the Role:

The Alexandra Kalyvitis team is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Household Support Staff to join our household as a live-in housekeeper. This is a permanent position that requires a strong work ethic and a passion for providing excellent service.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Household Support Staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our home. This includes:

  • Cleaning: Sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, making beds, and changing sheets.
  • Laundry: Laundry clothing and household linens.
  • Housekeeping: Performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties, washing windows, walls, and ceilings.

Requirements:

  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 30 hours per week
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma
  • Experience: Experience is an asset

Work Setting: This is a live-in position, and optional accommodation is available at no charge. You will work in our employer's/client's home.

Security and Safety: A criminal record check is required.

Transportation/Travel Information: Travel expenses are paid by the employer, and public transportation is available.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: The position involves repetitive tasks.
