Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Hotel Operations Manager to join our team at the Wild Rose Country Inn. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient room cleaning and maintenance.
  • Inspect sites or facilities to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates for housekeeping and guest services.
  • Recommend or arrange for additional services required such as painting, repair work, renovations, or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
  • Co-ordinate work activities with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Ability to hire, train, and supervise light duty cleaners.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others.
  • Dependability, efficiency, flexibility, initiative, judgment, and reliability.
Working Conditions:

The incumbent will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and may be required to work variable hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.
