Job Title: Manufacturing Technologist

Maverick Industries Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient manufacturing processes, developing and maintaining quality control systems, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement plant layouts and production facilities to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Conduct work measurement and other studies to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and carry out health, safety, and fire prevention plans to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Develop computer applications for machines and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collect and analyze data and samples to inform decision-making and drive process improvements.
  • Develop and implement manufacturing and processing procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Assist in preparing estimates, schedules, specifications, and reports to support business decisions.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to inform design and implementation decisions.
Requirements:
  • Certification by a provincial or territorial association.
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD), MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Windows, and Autodesk Inventor.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices.
  • Experience in fabrication, product development, and industrial processes and biological studies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
