Landscape Labourer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and physically fit Landscape Labourer to join our team at All Season Tree Service. This is a permanent position with 40 hours of work per week.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will assist in landscape constructions, tie and secure plants, weed, prune and trim trees and plants, cut grass, rake and collect refuse, cart and spread topsoil and other materials, lay sod or seed, plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs and trees, apply fertilizers, repair and maintain equipment, water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens, operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, and perform snow maintenance operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with landscape constructions
  • Tie and secure plants
  • Weed, prune and trim trees and plants
  • Cut grass
  • Rake and collect refuse
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials
  • Lay sod or seed
  • Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs and trees
  • Apply fertilizers
  • Repair and maintain equipment
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment
  • Perform snow maintenance operations
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license
  • Steel-toed safety boots
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Dependability and reliability
  • Client focus and team player
Working Conditions:

This position requires working outdoors in various weather conditions. The successful candidate must be physically fit and able to lift heavy loads.

Salary:

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
