Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Java backend software developer to join our team in Canada. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining our software solutions using the latest cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable software services using Java
  • Collaborate with the project team to develop software solutions
  • Ensure code quality and governance
  • Plan, estimate, and contribute to the architecture, coding, and development
  • Communicate technical decisions and information to the global team
  • Participate in the deployment and operation of software solutions (DevOps)

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in Java development
  • 2+ years of experience with data cleansing and data extraction for ETL processes
  • 3+ years of experience with both SQL and NoSQL
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong English skills (written and verbal)
  • Python experience

Interview Process:

  • Communication and soft-skills evaluation
  • Technical evaluation of general software development principles
  • Practical evaluation (live coding exercise) in Java
  • Practical evaluation (live exercise) in SQL

Salary: The salary for this position is based on the Atimi Salary Grid, ranging between 108k and 158k per annum and depends on the individual's experience and performance during the interview.
