About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Drafting Technician to join our team at Wesbell Communications Inc. as a Telecommunications Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing engineering designs and drawings, developing and preparing design sketches, and preparing construction specifications, costs, and material estimates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Drafting
    • Prepare engineering designs and drawings for telecommunications projects
    • Develop and prepare design sketches for construction and installation
  • Specifications and Estimates
    • Prepare construction specifications, costs, and material estimates for telecommunications projects
  • Documentation and Drawing Sets
    • Complete documentation packages and drawing sets for telecommunications projects
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. engineering, architecture)
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in drafting and design
  • Skills and Knowledge
    • Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Security and Safety
    • Basic security clearance
    • Criminal record check
  • Transportation and Travel
    • Own vehicle
    • Driver's abstract
