As a Care Companion, you will provide essential support and care to seniors in their own homes, promoting independence and enhancing their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities- Administering bedside and personal care to ensure clients' comfort and well-being
- Assisting with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Providing companionship and engaging clients in activities that promote mental stimulation and social interaction
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals to meet clients' dietary needs
- Maintaining a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Educational background: Other trades certificate or diploma
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
- Certifications: Personal Support Worker Certificate
- Personal qualities: punctuality, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, organized, reliability
You will work in various locations, including clients' homes, providing support and care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
The ideal candidate will be physically demanding, able to stand for extended periods, walk, bend, crouch, and kneel as needed.
