Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-focused Fracturing Operator to join our team at Trican. As a key member of our fracturing crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our equipment and vehicles.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the safety of yourself and others on site by adhering to Trican's core value of prioritizing safety above all else.
  • Operate large duty trucks over outdoor terrain and through various weather conditions, ensuring timely and efficient transportation of equipment and personnel.
  • Attend pre-job safety meetings to review site-specific hazards and ensure a thorough understanding of the day's activities.
  • Perform pre and post-trip inspections on all equipment, accurately documenting any issues or concerns.
  • Rig-in and rig-out equipment for travel, ensuring all necessary components are properly secured and accounted for.
  • Operate equipment in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all relevant safety protocols and procedures.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with colleagues, supervisors, and clients to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Consult with supervisors and crew members to identify and address any operational deficiencies or areas for improvement.
  • Assist in the maintenance of all equipment, ensuring it remains in good working order and meets Trican's high standards.
  • Ensure all job activities, safety requirements, and standard procedures align with Trican's company standards, government legislation, and customer requirements.
Requirements
  • Valid Class 1 or Class 3 Driver's license is required.
  • Pressure pumping experience is preferred, but not necessary.
  • High school diploma is an asset, but not required.
  • Safe driving skills and a clean driver's abstract are essential.
  • Physically demanding role requiring heavy lifting and manual labor.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary for effective collaboration and problem-solving.

Working Conditions
  • 15 days on/6 days off rotation.
  • On-call 24-hours during shift.
  • Must live near the base of employment.
