We are seeking an exceptional individual to fill the role of Avionics Programs Specialist at De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing, coordinating, and overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of avionics systems and programs.
Key Accountabilities- Manage and coordinate avionics programs to ensure timely delivery, budget adherence, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Design, develop, and integrate avionics systems within aircraft.
- Test, certify, and integrate avionics systems into aircraft electrical systems.
- Prepare and present progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure all avionics systems are designed and maintained in compliance with aviation safety regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, avionics, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in avionics systems or program management, preferably within the aviation or aerospace industry.
- Hands-on experience with avionics testing, integration, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in avionics system design, integration, and certification processes.
- Knowledge of communication, navigation, flight control, and radar systems.
- Familiarity with software and hardware tools used in avionics testing and simulation.
