Job Summary

Nurse consultants play a critical role in the WSIB's structured case management framework. They interact with various stakeholders to recognize and respond to complex needs, make timely and quality-informed healthcare entitlement decisions, and provide clinical advice and guidance on recovery plans.

Key Requirements

  • You'll need three years prior experience in a clinical environment, such as primary health care, occupational health, adult acute/community care.
  • You'll require a university completion at undergraduate level with a specialty focus in Nursing or a diploma or bachelor's degree in Nursing as recognized by the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • You'll need to be registered as a Registered Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario in the General Class.
