Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Family Medicine physician to join our team at the Nova Scotia Health Authority.

About the Role

This full-time opportunity is designed for a motivated physician who is passionate about delivering high-quality primary care services to patients of all ages and stages of health or illness.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of comprehensive primary health care services, working collaboratively with other healthcare providers within the practice and community, and participating in quality improvement and evaluation activities.

Qualifications
  • Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS)
  • Eligibility for certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC)
  • Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
  • Emergency department experience is an asset
