We are currently seeking a skilled Nursery Labourer to join our team at Charbonneau L'Expert inc. As a horticulture assistant, you will be responsible for providing support in the day-to-day operations of our nursery.

About the Role

This is a physically demanding position that requires individuals with a strong work ethic and attention to detail. The successful candidate will have experience working in a nursery or greenhouse environment and possess knowledge of plant care and maintenance.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and maintaining greenhouses, including washing plants, tools, and equipment
  • Assisting with potting and repotting plants, as well as watering and tending to lawns and gardens
  • Cleaning the work area to ensure a safe and efficient working environment
Requirements
  • Degree, certificate, or diploma not required; experience an asset
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of French language preferred
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work 40 hours per week in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This is a temporary position, with the possibility of extension or permanent hire based on performance.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $35,000 to $45,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a generous paid time off policy.
