Sales Associate

As a Sales Associate at Cartier, you will be responsible for consistently achieving and/or exceeding monthly sales targets, as directed by management. You will ensure that each client receives outstanding and exceptional customer service by providing a friendly environment, greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge, and all other components of Customer Service before, during, and after sales clients. This includes after-sales clients if a Cartier after-sales dedicated area/staff is not available. You will adapt your approach according to the client's needs and motivations, negotiate and handle objections with ease, and assist and support after-sales clients in accordance with Maison values. You will also remain current on industry news and competitor information.
Client Relationship Management:
You will cultivate new and existing client relationships through exceptional service and other Maison-specific CRM initiatives, partnering with Management to develop a plan for their clients and prospects. You will consistently and accurately capture client data for follow-up and relationship building, effectively utilizing the tools that are available. You will appropriately resolve client issues/concerns and escalate as needed to Management. You will partner with Management to develop a plan to support and participate in in-store and offsite events and networking.
Daily Boutique Operations:
You will understand and comply with all security and operational policies and procedures for the Group, Maison, and boutique. You will assist with daily set-up and breakdown of the boutique, and communicate on any maintenance issues. You will assist in the merchandising and daily maintenance of displays and back-stock. You will actively participate in daily and annual inventories and cycle counts to prepare and ensure a successful audit. You will assist with special projects, as needed (price changes, supporting back-office responsibilities, etc.).
Requirements:
A college degree is preferred. You will have 2 to 5 years of previous experience in luxury retail, service, or hospitality environment. You will have general knowledge of timepiece movements. You will have the ability to work in a fast-paced retail store environment, computer and internet savvy, and MS Office experience required, SAP knowledge preferred. You will have additional language skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a strong understanding of Customer Service needs and Customer (internal and external) priorities. You will have strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and with precision. You will be a genuine Maison Ambassador, upholding Cartier image by maintaining a professional demeanor at all times and being an Ambassador for the Brand. You will be a self-starter with a team-player approach, available to work retail hours including weekends and to travel for trainings, client events, conferences.
