Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and driven Service Electrician, Thermographer to join our Power Quality services team based in Burnaby. This role offers a unique opportunity to utilize your expertise in high-voltage electrical systems and thermography to identify potential issues in electrical mechanical building systems.
Responsibilities- Conduct thermal imaging inspections to identify potential issues in electrical mechanical building systems.
- Work collaboratively with the Power Quality services team to deliver innovative solutions that meet customer needs.
- Supervise electrical journeyman and apprentices when required.
- A certified Red Seal Electrical Journeyperson for at least 5 years.
- Certification in thermography Level 1 is required.
- Proficient in using thermal imaging cameras.
- Able to interpret thermal data effectively.
- Possess a strong understanding of thermography principles.
- Demonstrate a commitment to safety.
- Good understanding of the Canadian Electrical Code. FSR-A or B is an asset.
- Well organized, team player, strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Skilled at electrical trouble shooting and problem solving.
- Able to work in an exciting fast-paced positive environment.
- Able to speak, read, and write English fluently and maintain legible/accurate paperwork.
- Must have a valid driver's license and hold a clean driving record.
- A current IBEW local 213 member or willing to become one.
This position offers a competitive salary of $53.73 per hour, as per the IBEW local 213 pay schedule. Company-provided service van, cell phone, and service clothing ensure you stay productive and efficient throughout your shift.
