About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our Innovation department in Waterloo Region. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for maintaining and developing dashboards, charts, and visual aids to analyze data and inform decision-making.

  • Develop and deliver reports for internal and external partners
  • Create new data dashboards, charts, and visual aids to support decision-making
  • Analyze data to answer key questions from internal or external partners
  • Assist with data pipeline design, development, and monitoring
  • Support data literacy initiatives and develop a program to promote overall learning and development in data literacy
About You

We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Data Analyst with a strong foundation in data modeling and analytics. You'll have a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or a related field, and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.

  • Strong analytical abilities and experience with data languages such as SQL, Python, R, and Excel
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Qlik, PowerBI, and Tableau
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Proven experience with database and model design and segmentation techniques
