About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and physically fit individual to join our team as a Glazier Assistant at Sherwood Windows Limited. As a key member of our installation team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, Unload, and Transport Materials: Safely load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Direct Traffic: Direct traffic at or near construction sites to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Operate Hand and Power Tools: Utilize hand and power tools to assist in the installation process.
  • Perform Labouring and Elemental Activities: Perform other labouring and elemental activities as required to support the installation team.
  • Assist Skilled Tradespersons: Assist skilled tradespersons with tasks such as securing attachments to equipment or trucks.
  • Ensure Safety Procedures: Ensure safety procedures are followed at all times to prevent accidents and injuries.
Work Environment

As a Glazier Assistant, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to lift heavy loads and work in a physically demanding role.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
