About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cryptography Engineer to join our team at TD Bank. As a key member of our Cryptography Planning team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing cryptographic solutions to protect our customers' data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cryptographic frameworks and guidelines for TD Bank
  • Research and evaluate vendors and solutions for data protection
  • Develop systems blueprints and documentation for building and automating data protection technologies
  • Collaborate with internal teams to drive design adoption and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Contribute to the development of solution documentation, system requirements, and cryptography and data protection policies
Requirements
  • Strong technical knowledge of cryptography and data security technologies, frameworks, tools, processes, and procedures
  • Experience with cryptographic and encryption technologies and standards (Symmetric/Asymmetric cryptography, PKI, Digital Signing and Hashing)
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts to business value and communicate effectively with senior leadership and non-technical stakeholders
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and Windows/Unix/Linux databases and storage systems
  • Experience with data protection against ransomware and mainframe cryptography and HSM is a plus
