Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Millwright Technician to join our team at Emterra Group. As a Millwright Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on our equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Assist in the design and implementation of preventative maintenance programs.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly checklists to ensure adherence to maintenance programs.
- Plan and adhere to work schedules consistent with the needs of the plant and maintenance programs.
- Maintain proper log books of all maintenance activities.
- Assist in managing inventory levels of critical replacement parts.
- Participate in Health & Safety initiatives of the plant.
Requirements
- Red Seal Millwright certification.
- Excellent welding and fabrication skills.
- Technical expertise with hydraulics, pumps, motors, conveyors, shaft alignment, pulleys, belts, and bearings.
- Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
