Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Flink Streaming Engineer to join our team of experts in cloud and on-premise application modernization, migration, and adoption. As a key member of our consulting team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing low-latency, high-throughput data streaming solutions using Kafka and NoSQL databases.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain streaming applications utilizing Java 8/11, including Stream API, multi-threading, collections, and profiling.
- Leverage Apache Flink, Kafka, Redis Cache, and enterprise databases to ensure robust and efficient data streaming.
- Lead efforts in modernizing, migrating, and adopting cloud and on-premise applications using virtualization, DevOps pipelines, and shared infrastructure deployments with Terraform.
- Ensure seamless integration and optimization of data pipelines in various environments.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in developing Java streaming applications, with expertise in Flink, Kafka, Java Microservices, Redis Cache, and enterprise databases.
- Extensive hands-on development experience with Java 8/11, including Stream API, multi-threading, collections, and profiling.
- Expertise in JEE, Spring MVC, and Spring Boot.
- Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker) and preferably, Container Management software (Kubernetes).
The estimated salary for this position is around $140,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
About the LocationThis position can be worked remotely from Canada (Central & East Coast). We offer flexible working arrangements to accommodate different time zones and work styles.
