Job Title: Motor Coach Driver

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Motor Coach Driver to join our team at Trimark People Solutions Inc. As a Motor Coach Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate buses, school buses, or streetcars to transport passengers
  • Provide sightseeing information to passengers
  • Report delays, mechanical problems, and accidents
  • Load and unload vehicles
  • Direct passengers during emergency evacuation procedures
  • Operate para-transit vehicles
  • Ensure para-transit passengers board vehicles safely
  • Deal with the public
  • Complete logbooks and reports
  • Deal with difficult passengers and resolve conflicts
  • Communicate with passengers, dispatchers, or other drivers using two-way radio systems
  • Ensure children's safety when boarding and leaving buses and crossing streets while buses are stopped
  • Maintain control of student activities during travel to prevent distractions or behaviors that could compromise safety
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance
Requirements:
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Class 2/2F/C Licence (buses with more than passengers)
  • Class 4/4F/F/4A-B-C Licence (ambulances, emergency vehicles, and buses with fewer than 24 passengers)
  • Defensive Driving Course
  • Certified Professional Bus Operator
  • Driver's Licence (Class 2 or B or C)
Work Environment:

This is an on-the-road job with a variety of work schedules and locations. You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly and safely.
