About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at 1350300 B.C. LTD. as a Construction and Renovation Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of construction and renovation projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Schedule and coordinate work on sites to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Construction and Renovation: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Installation and Fitting: Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to ensure a high-quality finish.
  • Supervision and Training: Supervise other workers and instruct apprentices to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Estimation and Costing: Estimate costs and materials required for projects to ensure accurate budgeting and planning.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the trade.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: At heights, confined spaces, noisy, and dusty.
  • Work Setting: Construction, various locations, renovation, and residential.
  • Level of Expertise: Maintenance and repair.
  • Physical Capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking, handling heavy loads, and physically demanding.
  • Transportation: Valid driver's license.
