Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Ready Mix Driver to join our team at Heidelberg Materials North America. As a Ready Mix Driver, you will be responsible for delivering concrete to job sites in a timely and safe manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver Ready Mix Concrete to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the vehicle
  • Perform minor roadside repairs as needed
  • Inspect the mix, slump, and load size to ensure quality
  • Provide excellent customer service and work closely with dispatch to ensure the quickest and safest routes to jobs
  • Assemble and operate concrete chutes during the pour
  • Follow all safety precautions and regulations, including wearing proper safety gear and attending safety meetings

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License Class A or B
  • Proficient reading, writing, and math skills
  • Minimum of one year of experience operating a commercial vehicle with a multi-speed transmission
  • Good driving record and valid medical card
  • Concrete knowledge and experience preferred, as well as mechanical background or skills
  • Ability to work six days a week and occasionally on Sunday, with a solid attendance and punctuality history
