Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at The Melo Corporation. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment, receiving and storing supplies, and assisting with food preparation and presentation.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, and equipment
- Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, and storage areas
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash
- Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
- Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required
- Will train on the job
- Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, reliability, and team player
We offer on-the-job training tailored to youth and support for newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition.
Support for Indigenous PeopleWe develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations.
Working Conditions- Permanent position
- 35 hours per week
