About the Role

BURNS LAKE CONSTRUCTION is seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team. As a Construction Labourer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Operations: Assist in the loading, unloading, and transportation of construction materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Materials Handling: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt, ensuring accurate measurements and quality control.
  • Environmental Services: Clean and pile salvaged materials, clean up chemical spills, and remove rubble and debris from construction sites.
  • Weight Handling: Lift and move materials weighing up to 23 kg (50 lbs), adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Team Player: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve project goals, demonstrating reliability and a positive attitude.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Work Site Environment: Work outdoors in various locations, including dusty environments.
  • Work Setting: Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with varying work schedules.
  • Tasks: Perform a range of tasks, including those mentioned above, with a focus on quality and safety.
