Six Side Logistics is a dynamic logistics company that requires an experienced Logistics Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials within our organization.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in logistics and supply chain management, with experience in coordinating activities, preparing reports, and training workers. They will also possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 per year, based on industry standards for this position in Canada. This amount may vary depending on your location, but we strive to ensure fair compensation for our employees.

Job Description

This Logistics Supervisor role involves:

  • Coordinating activities with other work units or departments to achieve operational efficiency;
  • Preparing and submitting reports to stakeholders, including regular updates on inventory levels and logistical performance metrics;
  • Training workers in duties and policies related to logistics and supply chain management;
  • Coordinating, assigning, and reviewing work tasks to ensure timely completion and adherence to quality standards;
  • Requisitioning or ordering materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to support operational requirements;
  • Organizing and maintaining inventory levels to minimize stockouts and overstocking;
  • Planning, organizing, and overseeing operational logistics to ensure seamless execution of business plans.

In addition to these responsibilities, the Logistics Supervisor will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, handle heavy loads, and maintain attention to detail at all times.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this Logistics Supervisor position, you must have:

  • A college diploma, CEGEP, or non-university certificate/diploma from a program of 1-2 years; and
  • At least 7 months of experience in a logistics or supply chain management role.
