About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented residential cleaner to join our team at Spruce'd. As a key member of our cleaning team, you will be responsible for ensuring our properties are clean and well-maintained.

Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors to a high standard.
  • Dust furniture and fixtures to maintain a clean and tidy environment.
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture to ensure a spotless space.
  • Make beds and change sheets to provide a comfortable living experience.
  • Stock linen closets to ensure adequate supplies.
  • Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to meet health and safety standards.
  • Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Launder clothing and household linens to ensure cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as required.
  • Wash windows, walls and ceilings to maintain a sparkling clean appearance.
  • Clean changing rooms and showers to meet health and safety standards.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with fast-paced environments and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks.
  • Physically demanding role requiring bending, crouching, kneeling, standing for extended periods, and combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Punctuality, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, reliability, and teamwork skills are essential.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position working 30 hours per week. The salary range for this role is $18-$22 per hour, depending on experience, which translates to approximately $37,440 - $45,760 per year.
