About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Bartender who can provide personalized service to our guests while maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a busy restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• 
  
• Welcome guests warmly and make them feel valued
  
• Offer assistance to guests whenever needed
  
• Provide recommendations on cocktails, wine, and beer based on their preferences
  
• Maintain accurate guest tabs, order food, and prepare beverages efficiently
  
• Go above and beyond to ensure guest satisfaction
  
• Work collaboratively with other staff members to deliver seamless service
  
• Take ownership of the bar area and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization
  
• Other duties as assigned by management
  

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• 
  
• SmartServe certification
  
• At least 6 months of experience as a bartender
  
• Enrolled or completed a Hospitality, Food & Beverage, and/or Special Events program (an asset)
  
• Strong knowledge of wine, beer, and cocktails
  
• WSET certification preferred but not required
  
• Passion for providing excellent customer service
  
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  
• Strong oral and written communication skills
  
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
  
• Availability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends

Salary

$50,000-$60,000 per year, depending on experience
