Job Title: Home Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Support Worker to join our team at Nick's Caregiving Society. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Launder clothing and household linens, maintaining a clean and comfortable living environment.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, ensuring the client's home is safe and healthy.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Assist clients with medication management, as required.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
