About the Job

Pacific Preferred Developments Ltd. is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining structures made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Maintaining, repairing, and renovating residences and wooden structures
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Own transportation
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Ability to work overtime
  • Client focus, reliability, team player, and punctuality
