About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Localization QA Game Tester to join our team at PTW-Montreal. As a Localization QA Game Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our games in Brazilian Portuguese.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proofread and identify errors in Brazilian Portuguese language to ensure the highest level of quality.
  • Verify that console manufacturer guidelines are met to ensure compliance.
  • Write detailed reports of errors and bugs found to help improve the game.
  • Provide feedback on the game to ensure it meets the required standards.
  • Identify missing or incorrect content to ensure a smooth gaming experience.
  • Perform ad hoc translations as needed.
Requirements
  • Native-level proficiency in Brazilian Portuguese is mandatory, as the position requires a thorough understanding of the content within games in the Brazilian Portuguese language.
  • Strong cultural understanding of Brazil is essential.
  • Excellent proficiency in English is required, as the role involves comprehending and interpreting internal documentation from our international clients.
  • Basic proficiency in French is desired to facilitate communication and collaboration when required.
  • Computer literacy, particularly with Excel, is necessary.
  • Excellent attention to detail is required.
