We are seeking a skilled Culinary Professional to join our team at NT Temps Inc. as a Cook. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, demonstrating a commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization, and clean kitchen and work areas as needed.
- Team Leadership: Manage kitchen operations, including supervising staff and ensuring efficient workflow.
- Certifications: Possess a Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate, Safe Food Handling certificate, and Food Safety Certificate.
- Personal Qualities: Demonstrate attention to detail, work well in a fast-paced environment, and possess excellent oral communication skills.
- Work Environment: Be able to stand for extended periods and work under pressure, with a strong focus on client satisfaction.
- Free Parking: Enjoy free parking available on site.
- Temporary Work: This is a temporary work opportunity, with a regular schedule of 37.5 hours per week.
- Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
