About the Role

The Guelph Youth Music Centre is seeking a dynamic and visionary Executive Director to lead our organization in achieving its mission to educate, enrich, and foster the development of our youth through music and the arts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive current programs and secure long-term revenue growth
  • Collaborate with the Board of Directors to identify and secure funding sources through corporate and private sponsors, grants, foundations, and other fundraising activities
  • Develop, plan, implement, and evaluate youth music and arts programs, fostering volunteerism and sound financial and facility management
  • Lead the organization in achieving its mission and vision, ensuring alignment with the Board's strategic objectives
Requirements
  • Music training and arts programming experience
  • Collaborative skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders
  • Proficiency in using digital tools such as Google Suite, QuickBooks Online, social media platforms, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in non-profit or arts administration
What We Offer

A competitive salary range of $60,000-$62,000, plus benefits including medical, dental, and life insurance.
