About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at Cafe Celeste Bistro. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitized environment for our customers and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, including dishwashers, carts, and waste disposal units.
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware to the highest standards of cleanliness.
  • Wash and sanitize dishes and other items by hand, ensuring they are spotless and ready for use.
  • Scour pots and pans to remove any food residue and maintain their condition.
  • Handle and store cleaning products safely and efficiently.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
Requirements
  • Experience in a similar role is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and supplies.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week. The language of work is English.
