Senior Communications and Social Media Specialist

BluEarth Renewables Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Communications and Social Media Advisor to join our team.
Job Summary:The Senior Communications and Social Media Advisor will be responsible for developing and executing strategic communications plans to support BluEarth's business objectives. This includes managing corporate communications, social media, and crisis communications.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement communications strategies to support BluEarth's business objectives
- Manage corporate communications, including media relations, internal communications, and external communications
- Oversee social media presence and develop content calendars to engage with stakeholders
- Manage crisis communications and develop emergency response plans
- Lead internal communications, including quarterly townhall meetings and sensitive HR-related messaging
- Support project communications, including landowner and community engagement
- Develop and implement annual data collection and subject matter reviews
- Lead the drafting, organization, and delivery of BluEarth's annual ESG Report
- Degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field
- Minimum of seven years' experience in a communications role, preferably in renewable energy or a related business sector
- Experience developing tactical communications strategies and executing those strategies
- Experience working with mainstream media and in crisis management planning and response
- Familiarity with web development software and social media platforms
- Strong writing ability and literacy in MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and social media platforms
