About the Role

The Maintenance and Engineering Manager is a key member of our site's Management Committee, responsible for overseeing all aspects of maintenance and engineering. This includes managing preventative and corrective maintenance programs, ensuring the availability of equipment to meet production needs, and driving continuous improvements to processes and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage maintenance and engineering teams through proactive communications, individual feedback, and employee involvement.
  • Perform project management duties for capital projects, ensuring efficient and successful implementation.
  • Oversee the management of replacement part inventory and ensure all purchases remain within established budgets.
  • Provide backup support for quality and food safety initiatives.

Requirements

  • Degree in mechanical, industrial, or electrical engineering.
  • Five to seven years of progressive maintenance experience, with plant engineering experience in the food or chemical industry.
