COGIR Immobilier, a well-established private residence provider, seeks an experienced entertainment coordinator to fill a full-time position at Les Marronniers in Lévis. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing engaging activities for our seniors.


Overview

As an Entertainment Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating a stimulating environment that caters to the diverse needs and interests of our residents. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of seniors while working in a dynamic and supportive team.


Responsibilities
  • Design and implement a variety of activities, including recreational programs, cultural events, and educational workshops, to ensure a high quality of life for our residents.
  • Animate and oversee supervision during activities, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie among residents.
  • Decorate the premises for special events, enhancing the aesthetic appeal of our residence.
  • Manage the logistics related to activities, ensuring seamless execution and minimal disruption to daily routines.
  • Plan the activities calendar, taking into account resident preferences and scheduling constraints.
  • Promote activities related to the residents, encouraging participation and engagement.
  • Regularly validate that activities correspond to the needs and desires of the residents and collaborate with other departments to facilitate tasks.
  • Welcome residents and invite them to participate in activities, promoting a sense of inclusivity and belonging.

Requirements
  • A degree in recreation or a related field (DEC) is required; experience in managing activities for older adults is considered an asset.
  • Candidates should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with residents, staff, and external partners.
