Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at RhynoCare in the Gravenhurst area. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring their physical, psychological, and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing care in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and the resident's plan of care.
  • Utilize sound nursing practice principles to ensure the delivery of excellent nursing and personal care.
  • Ensure timely and accessible admissions, comprehensive orientations, and safe resident transfers and discharges.
  • Manage the supply, control, and safekeeping of drugs and narcotics, adhering to protocols on all assigned shifts.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of residents.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent.
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Effective, compassionate, and supportive interaction with others.
  • Respect for resident autonomy, self-respect, and privacy.
  • Knowledge of relevant Federal, Provincial, and Municipal statutes influencing nursing home operations.
  • Medical Clearance, including TB tests.
  • Vulnerable Sector Police Check and/or Adult Abuse Registry Check.
  • Clear Criminal Record check.

All staff are required to provide proof of vaccination, adhere to COVID-19 prevention protocols, and wear a mask at all times.
