Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Operational Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of equipment and sites to identify potential hazards and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Blueprint Reading: Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine work requirements and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Site Preparation: Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required for construction projects.
  • Heavy Equipment Operation: Operate pile driving cranes to drive pilings into the earth to provide support for buildings and other structures.
  • Material Handling: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt as required for construction projects.
  • Dredging Operations: Operate cranes equipped with dredging attachments to dredge waterways and other areas.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance work on equipment and sites to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Site Management: Direct traffic at or near construction sites to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Work Schedule: Work a regular schedule of 30 to 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime as required.
  • Language: English is the primary language used in the workplace.
