As a Registered Nurse, you will provide a wide range of nursing services to patients, families, communities, and populations, ensuring their safety and well-being. You will utilize nursing processes, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making to provide high-quality patient and family-centered care. You will also play a leadership role in supporting an integrated and holistic approach to patient care, health promotion, and maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Provide safe, quality patient and family-centered care
- Utilize nursing processes to ensure patient safety and well-being
- Support an integrated and holistic approach to patient care, health promotion, and maintenance
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited nursing education program
- Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA)
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP)
- Completion of the CRNA Medication Management - Chapters and the NextGenU Health Assessment Resources Certification (if not practiced as a Registered Nurse within the last five years)
