About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Patterson Kaye Resort. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our cottages, main lodge, and restaurant dining room.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a wide range of cleaning duties, including thorough cleaning of cottages, laundry, and housekeeping organization.
  • Ensure all cottages meet our company standards and are well-maintained.
  • Utilize cleaning supplies effectively and safely, adhering to WHMIS guidelines.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a friendly, helpful attitude towards staff and guests.
  • Notify supervisors and maintenance of any damages, deficits, or disturbances immediately.
  • Deal with reasonable complaints and requests in a professional and patient manner.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, reporting needs to management.
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols and company practices.
Requirements
  • Experience is an asset, but we provide full training to meet our standards.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain high performance standards.
  • Customer-oriented and friendly demeanor.
  • Excellent organization, time management, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work quickly without compromising quality.
  • WHMIS certification is an asset.
  • Worker's Health and Safety Awareness is a plus.
Working Conditions
  • We offer flexible scheduling and a positive work environment.
  • Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
