Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and friendly Cashier and Customer Service Representative to join our team at My Convenience Store. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a cash register and process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and checkout area
  • Restock shelves and merchandise as needed
  • Assist customers with finding products and answering questions about store policies and procedures
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous retail or customer service experience an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and bend/reach as needed
