Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at DOON SPICE & CURRY RESTAURANT. As a key member of our restaurant team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Food Service Staff: Lead and manage a team of food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting our high standards of quality and service.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to help staff improve their skills and knowledge, ensuring that they are equipped to provide excellent service to our customers.
  • Manage Food Preparation and Service: Oversee the preparation and service of food, ensuring that it meets our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Maintain Records and Reports: Maintain accurate records and reports of stock, sales, and other key performance indicators, providing insights to inform business decisions.
  • Ensure Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure that our food and service meet the highest standards.
  • Work with Other Departments: Collaborate with other departments, such as kitchen and front-of-house, to ensure seamless service and high-quality food.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a focus on customer service and quality food
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for long periods, and lifting up to 25 pounds
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service and teamwork
