Job Title: Truck and Trailer Repairer

We are seeking a skilled Truck and Trailer Repairer to join our team at Diesel Reefer Truck & Trailer Repair Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on commercial transport trucks and trailers. This includes diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues, replacing parts, and ensuring all work is completed to manufacturer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with commercial transport trucks and trailers
  • Replace parts and components as needed
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
  • Estimate parts and labor cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
Requirements:
  • Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification
  • Truck and Transport Mechanic Red Seal Endorsement
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the field
  • Valid driver's license
  • Own transportation
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on attention to detail and manual dexterity. The work site will be a garage with a noisy environment.
