About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Circle-K. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, credit, and debit card payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
  • Process Transactions: Scan items, receive payment for goods or services, and reconcile daily/shift payments with total sales.
  • Stock Shelves and Clean Counter Area: Maintain a clean and organized store environment by restocking shelves, sweeping, and mopping the floor.
  • Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, answer questions, and provide assistance with self-checkout.
  • Verify Age for Restricted Products: Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products.
Work Environment

As a Retail Sales Associate, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to stand for extended periods and maintain attention to detail.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
