Job Summary:

Impact Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Insurance Litigator to join their team as an Associate, Commercial Litigation Specialist. This is a litigation-focused role that requires exceptional writing skills and a desire to provide excellent service to clients in court.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and provide analysis to support litigation efforts
  • Collaborate with key partners to provide clients with the best legal services
  • Partner with the team to ensure strong collaboration and effective communication
  • Provide excellent service to clients in court

Requirements:

  • Graduate from a recognized University/ Common Law School with a license to practice law in the Province of Alberta as a member in good standing with the Law Society of Alberta Bar
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in Insurance Defence, Civil Litigation, and/or Commercial Litigation
  • Excellent academics (B student and/or greater)
  • Coverage experience an asset
  • Private practice experience is preferable but not necessary (in-house lawyers welcome to apply)
